What secrets do we keep safe when the moon waxes?
Rises high above the winter bared latticework of trees
Into the deep indigo night sky mapped in sparkling gems
Its silvered light cascading shadows across fresh dug earth
Canvas to imprint objects from a mind slowly awakening...
Into spring and as I wake with the world in April, so do you
Celestial and wraithlike we may walk among the night paths
Seeking revelation that may come and yet the very pursuit
Will bring us peace and take us closer to our tender hearts
In vernal journeys that end as they began in the greatest hope
